My request isn’t really a tutorial . . . I’d love to see a vid on ‘Hair Myths’ and which are true or false, i.e. Shampoos can’t fix split ends, lip balm help to tame frizz, etc. You could even let us send in our ‘myths!’

Hi Daven! Thanks for making your videos so fun; you make everything look so easy. With that being said, I recently got my hair cut and I’ve realized that the internet is severely lacking in short hair tutorials! I have an awesome angled bob with bangs but I’m not used to having short hair and I don’t know how else to style it. I just part it two different ways and that’s it.
How to control Wavy frizzy hair .?
My hair is wavy , but frizzy .
I don’t want to straighten it ANY longer since that damages my hair and creates split ends .
and if I get split ends i will have to cut my hair , which I want to grow out .
I’ve tried mouse , but by the end of the day my hair is back to being frizzy and wavy.
I don’t know what products to use .
Any help as in giving me ideas of how to style it , or products to make my hair wavy without being frizzy would help .

Hey! I lovveeeee watching your videos even though I can’t even do hair. Well, older my sister has curly frizzy hair. After she comes out of the shower she refuses to brush her hair since she says it won’t curl. -3- then she gets sick for waiting for her hair to air dry. Because she has hair is damaged, dry, thick, and a little frizzy hair she doesn’t want to use curling irons or anything with heat, even the hair blow dryer. She’s in grade 12 and I’m in grade 8 therefore we are both graduating this year. I would love to see videos how to do hair without heat, for graduation, something fast and easy that you can do on your own head, hair treatments/masks, hair styles for straight/side bangs, different braid styles, CORNROLLS WITH BEADS! LOL, hair for winter, everyday school hairstyles, and tips to maintain your hair style when your out. It’s her birthday May 22, she’s turning 18 and I still don’t have a gift for her since I’m only 14 and poor. I feel bad for asking my parents for money because they work so hard and don’t even buy anything for themselves. Hopefully you’ll read this, sorry it’s so long. Fingers cross that I win for her. I would love to see a tutorial about what different types of “general” hairstyle suits different types of face shapes or body shapes.

Please make a tutorial about how to give more volume for the hair( the upper part of the hair, close to the center of the head). When curve hair, it doesn’t make the face looks equally because the below part of the hair will look bigger cuz it has more volume after curve, but it’s hard to make the upper part looks voluminous.

I would like to see an easy, maybe a 5 day (5 different hair styles) hair tutorial that i can do to my hair that would only take me 5 minutes, (so many 5, 555 hair maybe will suit for the video title) it is so hard for me to wake up early and rush to my work and i ended up having a wet hair. It was so freaking ugly when it gets dry. :’( I’m working in a child care and preschool center as a teacher and my cutie students loves to play with my long hair especially if i have a pony tail. They used to have a toy comb, blow dryer, mirror and hairbrush and they let me sit on a chair. (I remember you and your videos when they play with my hair) I can’t have a hairstyle with lots of bobby pins because the little tots want to take them off. Alot of women/men do not know nor understand their hair (hair formation/texture/elasticity/porosity)
I think you should educate these people so they can get a basic undestanding of their hair type as well as other people around them so they can forward KNOW what their hairtype is and how to take care of it when styling their hair due to different heat settings..to shampoo with warm water to close the cuticle and condition rinse with cold water.
E-Elasticity -Good Damaged??
TEXTURE- coarse, medium (best at styling), fine
P-Porosity..do a water float test..Rate if it’s good bad poor..(doesn’t have to be these exact words)
Formation-straight/wavy/curly/extra curly
I have more ideas on what tutorial you should do..but let’s start off with this one, the basics.

I want to see video of the different types of bangs there are or at least the different looks of bangs you can create. I’m really interested in getting some myself, but from the clip-on bangs video, I couldn’t find any recommendations personally by you (Daven) and other suggestions are out of my budget. I really like though that all your videos are simple and divided easily into the different categories.

I love contests! A tutorial I think you should do it for fine, straight, shiny (not oily) hair. My hair doesn’t hold a curl unless they’re over night hair rollers. I even got bangs to add style but it’s annoying to keep up.

My hair isn’t short short or long and sometimes its a bit difficult to try some hairstyles you show in the videos since I don’t have that much hair and I want to try new things. So i realized i never wrote what type of tutorial i’d like to see . . . i have very fine hair that breaks a lot, it’s getting better though because of your grow your hair with barbie tutorial . . . anyway i was hoping you could post some tutorials for fine straight hair that is medium length . . . but any length would be awesome because i do cut my hair shorter sometimes and am trying to grow it out.

Where to start?
If I had to narrow it down to two tutorials it would have to be up-do’s for us thick haired girls and also products we should put in our hair after showering, (i.e. serums, conditioners, cremes, etc. etc.)
I have about three million more ideas, if you would like them butttt I did not want to make you want to kill yourself reading this. But, the fact is your videos are great quality and short plus you have talent which show through your work. So, I can believe what you are saying is true and the correct way to do a style..( hopefully that makes sense :/ ?!)
