Sixth months ago I had the honor of working with Disney’s Lemonade Mouth star Hayley Kiyoko. She has been in numerous feature films and is one of the new faces and young talent propelling the next generation onto the silver screen. 
Haley’s hair is amazing to work with. I used big barrel irons on her for the Yellow Carpet Premiere of Disney’s Lemonade Mouth Movie.
Hayley has medium lengthed hair wavy hair. The ends of her hair come right down past her shoulders. I used a curling iron to lift her locks up toward her jawline to give her a cute “faux bob”. Medium Length hair is great because you can pretend its a cute short cut when you curl it! Try using a 1/2″ iron to give you some waves.
One of the most important things that I recommend when doing your hair for an event is using a firm hold hairspray. With the right preparation, bullet proof hair can be achieved with any hair type!
The best hairsprays aren’t always the most expensive ones, I recommend using Paul Mitchell Extra Body Finishing Hair Spray to seal your locks all day and all night!
